The duties and responsibilities of the Office of Tax Commissioner are numerous, but our main function is to serve you, the citizens of Baldwin County. This site has been prepared to help answer some of your questions regarding county taxes.
We are glad you have chosen to visit our website and hope you find it to be a valuable resource. On this website you can securely pay your property taxes as well as renew your vehicle tags at your convenience. (A convenience fee applies.)
As there are many complex laws governing property taxation in Georgia, please remember that this website cannot cover all of them and should not be relied on as a legal source of information.

IMPORTANT OFFICE NOTICE
TAX COMMISSIONER’S OFFICE TRANSITION
Our office will be closed September 28 – 30, 2026 as we transition to the
new Tax Commissioner effective October 1, 2026
This allows time for checks to clear, credit card payments to post and all
funds to be properly accounted for and disbursed under the current Tax
Commissioner by September 30, 2026.
No interest or penalties will be assessed during this time.
We will reopen October 1, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. for normal business and begin
processing payments and transactions under the new Tax Commissioner.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition.
