The duties and responsibilities of the Office of Tax Commissioner are numerous, but our main function is to serve you, the citizens of Baldwin County. This site has been prepared to help answer some of your questions regarding county taxes.
We are glad you have chosen to visit our website and hope you find it to be a valuable resource. On this website you can securely pay your property taxes as well as renew your vehicle tags at your convenience. (A convenience fee applies.)
As there are many complex laws governing property taxation in Georgia, please remember that this website cannot cover all of them and should not be relied on as a legal source of information.

OFFICE CLOSURE NOTICE
The Baldwin County Tax Commissioner’s Office, along with all non-emergency departments of Baldwin County Government, will be closed on Monday, October 19, 2026, in honor and remembrance of our longtime Tax Commissioner, Cathy Freeman Settle, and to allow staff to attend her services.
We will reopen on Tuesday, October 20, at 8:30 a.m.
Thank you for your understanding as we honor Cathy and her many years of dedicated service to our office and to Baldwin County.
